The leader of India’s online fashion commerce, Myntra has been stylizing the Indians through its personalized shopping experience. It offers more than 350 Indian and International brands online.
Other than unleashing the fashion potential of its customers, Myntra also focuses on the growth and development of its employees. Myntra’s learning portal for its employees lacked a human–centric design, leading to an inconsistent user interface, a fractured information architecture and poor navigation features. The employees wanted intuitive user-experience.
Minimal Tweaks kickstarted the tweaking by holding a survey to know the reasons behind low engagement rate of employees on the platform. Firstly, the design was complex. Due to this, users considered it as a hustle that hindered their workflow. So, we focused on using an employee-centric approach in the revamp process. Secondly, the portal failed to reflect the brand-consistency. This required a UI that was consistent with the brand image.
The redesign was initiated by decluttering the dashboard of the portal.
Segmentation of the courses was done for a better navigation and clear information. Few of the courses were showcased on the dashboard depending on the priority of users.
Different color tabs were integrated to display course statistics for constant motivation of the users.
The banner regularly notified the users about the ongoing and upcoming offers and discounts.
The courses curated were rich in written, image and video content for an in-depth learning and application. Each course was followed by a quiz for a better evaluation.
To keep the suggestions incoming, a feedback form was available to some people in our network. All the responses were addressed without any difficulty.
The revamp promises to enhance the learning spirit and welcome more and more participation in the courses.
Note: This is a referral project. We were not commissioned directly by Myntra to redesign their portal.
